If you were part of the classmates that hung out in the "Now Extinct" Rogers smoking area please stop in here and say howdy to all of us. Everyone is welcome, If there is someone you are looking for you may also use this area to list them. The point is to stay in touch and let every one know how things are going. If you are not sure what to say maybe just list a few of the elective classes you took.

Many of my fondest memories were from standing out there inbetween classes visiting with friends of all varities and classes. It was kind of a declassifier and classmates form all walks of life came out to share, puff and enjoy time togeather. It didn't matter who you were there were always people to talk with. It is my hope we can emulate that same atmosfear of acceptance here to everyone.

Ah yes the memories of the famous or rather infamous smoking area. I'm not speaking of the one by the lunch room my friends but the one that was in the back right outside both the band room and the chior room. Playing a little Hacky Sack...And lets not forget a little break dancing...Lol. When boom boxes were the in thing, the bigger the better. Then of course the "Gazebo" across the street where we used to warm up with a little liquor. How foolish we were wondering off around the corner in back of the tennis courts to get a little pie eyed with the known "Lunch crowd"... Hopefully we all learned from our mistakes and of course deny any such information if our children were to ask. Lol. Here's to you all, a toast for all the memories I still remember, Lol. God Bless, Sean Mize

I deny any such knowledge of knowing about that places existance
LOL, I am a little supprised that my post was still listed as the last one made here in the forum since it has been a few days. Hey, I have a new toy to play with ... a couple days ago I picked up this old Dell server, it is a prety cool old dual prossor machien. Only 450MHz hehehehe. It was quite the server in it's day though. I have loaded it up with Linux and am now using it as a small file server on my network. It our runs my 800MHz Windows Server computer without much problem and is being quite the toy :-) Well, here is to hoping to make a little conversation (_)> .... bottoms up, I just love my coffee. Take Care, Michael |

in reality, how dumb were all of us? however....i can say i met a ton o great people. we were "just doing our thing..." made life at the time go a little faster. it seems a little weird knowing that our kidz r n that same boat now. strange... i don't feel that much older but yet my kids r calling me "a dork". Thought i was so cool back then... strange how age makes one put things in perspective...

For those of you who remember me I know I wont have to wory about this but just so everyone else is informed, I only smoke cigarettes. Not that I didn't try other things a time or two waayyyyyy back when but I just was such a liteweight and hated the headaches it wasn't worth it to keep trying lol.
I don't really feel that much older either, at least at heart. I do miss weeks seeming like they took some time though. It seems like everytime I turn-around it is a new week thesedays. ![]() Michael Last edited by Michael Compton : 11-13-2007 at 11:38 PM. |

Ok just started this stuff, so please be patient. Yes, I remember the smoking area, tell my kids about it all the time, yes, I still smoke too, though, none of my kids do. I knew I could teach them something, even if it wasn't by example. Michael you are not alone! But it is getting cold.
