What things interest you?

Hi Everyone,
I see several of us keep checking in but no one is saying much. In an effort to generate a little conversation here and keep things moving and interesting... I ask the question, What are your interests?

For myself, I am into working on computers, hiking, fishing, swimming, clam digging, I have been known to collect coins and enjoy chatting online with friends and family. This is not a all inclusive list of the things I like but it is a start. If any of these things interest you feel free to leave your comments. If not post some of the things you like and maybe we can all spark a little interest here.

What do I like? WOW, what a question!! Having spent the bulk of the last 12 years or so devoting my life to my children, it's hard to say. I've been a full time student for the past 4 years and combining that with "single-mother-hood" has left little time for personal interests

I think I like to read, although I haven't touched more than textbooks for some time and I KNOW I don't like reading those!! Outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, dancing, playing cards.... I think I like the ocean, after all, it's where my wedding will be -- by the way, are you going to be able to make it? --

Oh -- and I wanted to make a comment about one of the other posts I read... here in southern Idaho (officially called a "dessert") we received about 5 inches of snow on MAY 1 !!! Global Warming, my butt!!

ok... so.... what do I like... as my "new life" begins, I will have to give that some more thoughtful thought -- and I will be sure to get back to you... for now .. I'm going to enjoy going to bed before midnight and sleeping in past 6am ! That, I KNOW I will enjoy!

Okay sorry I have been so distant on here. I am back to work, working at Mountain West Bank in the Real Estate Department and love it... so that has kept me busy and still going to school so between working full time and studying I don't have any time.. lol

My interests are definately my children first. WE love to camp, and swim and do the amusement park stuff.. I love to hang out with my sisters and my friends..

I have lots of interests. I love to knit. I am practically obsessed with it. I also spin and dye yarn. I love photography. I would like to somehow make that a career someday (travel photography maybe?). I am an avid reader. I love being outdoors. My husband and I love going out on hikes on the weekends and I love camping in the Summer.

There are lots of things that I would like to get into but can't seem to find the time for. I want to learn the art of glass blowing, I want to learn how to paint in the Sumi-e style. I want to learn how to play the guitar. the list goes on and on.

Let's see here... That which interests me? Hmm. One thing I have noticed that I seem to be liking more and more as I get older is a good nap! Lol. Seems like I just can't find the time though. I really enjoy spending time with my Lady. If she is happy then I feel like I'm doing my job. I love listening to music, preferrably my son Devons' band called "Sever Until Scarlet". Both of my sons 15 and 20 are in bands and I have had the pleasure seeing both perform at venues.
Surprisingly enough I do like gaming on the internet playing stuff like Runescape and other fantasy games. But it seems that my job is so demanding I don't have much time for anything at all lately. Those naps are sure sounding good. Peace... The Mizes†

Haven't been online for awhile so it is good to see you back to work. Good luck with the work/school thing...been there, done that and it is not easy.

I have to say that my biggest interest is one shared with my husband, the Mustang club, cars and going to motorsport events but now with the problems Spokane Raceway Park is having that may be short lived. My husband and I will probably start traveling to other tracks (Kent, Portland).

I also love to spend time with my cockatoo and dog. I have started to do videos of them to put on You Tube but they never seem to want to perform with the camera on.

My latest interest would have to be walking/running and doing local races and getting together with local running clubs and getting out in the finally nice weather.

That is pretty much it right now and it is plenty!

I put some pics up of my cars, that keeps me pretty busy. I enjoy traveling and sight-seeing, luckily my job covers the expense for that! We spend almost every Sunday on the beach swimming and kayaking. I run for the military, but can't say I enjoy it.

I still mess with computers and video games, but don't have as much time as I used to.
